CIO magazine has named CrossCom National as one of its
CIO100 Winners for 2010.
The award is given to those
companies who
exemplify the highest level of operational
and strategic excellence for an information technology application that
creates genuine business value for its customers.
CrossCom
was recognized for its revolutionary Customer
MAP which allows its customers to
graphically “see” the status of any of their work
orders requiring an onsite visit by a CrossCom technician.
By using the MAP’s integrated filtering features, Customers can access real-time
information on work being performed throughout the United States and
Canada.
Access to this vital information is available 24/7 not only through the
Customer’s computer but also on their iPad, iPhone or Android mobile
device. CrossCom offers
access on these devices through their Citrix XenApp Server, which
literally allows their qualified Customers to have project status at
their fingertips.
The recipients of this year's
CIO 100 award were selected through a three-step process. First,
more than 300 companies filled out an online application form detailing
their innovative IT and business initiatives. Next, a team of judges
reviewed the applications in depth, looking for unique practices and
substantial results. Finally, CIO editors reviewed the judges'
recommendations and voted on the final 100.
"This year's CIO 100 Awards
draw well-deserved attention to companies that are not only innovating
with IT but creating genuine business value as well," said Maryfran
Johnson, Editor in Chief of CIO magazine & Events. "These winning
companies and their IT organizations are an inspiration to businesses
everywhere."
CIO
magazine produces
